|

I have a fuel injector pressure gauge. I am a little lost as to where to hook it up. I was told at the fuel distributor, but that is it. I was able to connect it to the CSV, but not sure if that is as accurate a spot. I was able to see the fuel pressure while in the drivers' seat though.
Thanks, _________________ Rob

I trust you have the CIS type gauge, with the valve in it, right? It should be connected at the top center connection of the fuel distributor, inline with the fuel connection already there, and with the gauge closer to the distributor than the valve. Readings are taken first with the valve closed, then open, giving you fuel delivery pressure then control pressure, respectively.
I think we'll be doing this to Dan B.'s (ideola) car tonight; maybe we'll have time to take a pic or two... _________________ Vaughan Scott

The line to the WUR is the spot.
You need to check system pressure and control pressure.
If you shut of the line to the WUR it will tell you the system pressure and when open will tell you the control pressure. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Wish I had seen the pics above before pulling out all the piping and coil to get to the WUR. :S
Helpful images for anyone else, though! _________________ 81' 924 Turbo, 02 Golf TDi, 88 Scirocco 16v (RIP)... and the Subaru. |
