So there are currently eleven 924 variants that I intend to keep (those listed in my signature), and not counting the one 924S (#19) parts car that I am slowly disassembling and will eventually go to the big boneyard in the sky. So at the moment, that makes 12 that I currently have on premises with titles in hand. Not counting the daily drivers. I'm still looking for a '78 Limited Edition. And if a true D-Prod, GTS, or GTR ever came up at the same time I had the money, I'd add those too.
Daily drivers are an '08 Suburban (tow vehicle and puppy wagon), '14 Mini Countryman All4 (the Blonde's commuter and our shared winter sled), and the '15 Cayman GTS. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

that's a lot of 924s! a true enthusiast!
what's the cayman GTS like? I've read good reviews of it as a driver's car. _________________ 1981 932 with mods:

I giggle like a girl every time I drive it.
Direct injected vario-cam is like boost...non-linear acceleration from 4000 RPM all the way to redline.
I always drive in Sport Plus mode just to hear the rev matching and the exhaust burbling on off-throttle. (More giggling ensues).
It is a head turner everywhere I go. Much less common than Boxsters and 911s, and I think more exotic looking.
GTS trim package is wonderful. Black leather, alcantara, and deviated red stitching.
