Happy Birthday to me.

Pretty rough but enough goodies to make it worthwhile, especially considering it was only 2 hours away...and my third acquisition from Wisconsin, oddly enough. Possible candidate for Holbert widebody restomod.

No cancer, but a few areas of concern that I'll investigate more thoroughly in the following days now that it's in more friendly environs.

Part of an estate sale. Purportedly driven into this shed 15 years ago and never moved since.

Completely dry inside and motor turns over by hand. No battery, and amazingly, no battery tray rot. A bit concerned about rodent damage to wiring based on the number of midden piles I found.

Came with a complete OEM Porsche K26 reseal kit in the passenger seat (NLA part number 931.123.901.00).

Found the DITC cover removed with the circuit board dangling in the foot well, still attached to the boost line, crank sensor, and multi-pin connector. Those could be ominous indicators of needed repairs.

All four tires completely shot, had a helluva time ratchet-strapping it into the hauler (note to self: get that damned winch and battery installed!).

Sad little puppy still in the trailer tonight, awaiting a name. More to follow...

Looks like a great project. The sunroof is open in the front but closed in the rear. What is holding the front of it up?

Will the wheels be up for sale? I'll be looking for a set of spiderwebs come tax season.

Not sure what the deal is with the sunroof. That's the photo from the seller's ad. When I got to the car, the sunroof was closed and it appeared to be sealed up pretty nice.

Nick, probably won't be selling the wheels. I am contemplating doing a five lug swap onto the Sebring car, and these would be the correct wheels for that conversion. If I change my mind on that, you have first dibs

Hoping to get the car out of the trailer today for a good rinse off and more thorough inspection. More photos to follow, but here's another teaser:
