Hey all those that have made custom exhausts..... did you hook up your O2 sensors to the new pipes?
If so did you use a mounting nut or "bung"...... and where did you get it.

Anyone that has any info on where to get this please let me know. Standard Bosch single wire O2.

Thanks! Need to know ASAP. Going to talk to a local shop today.

Eric

No, no bung on the exhaust; the racecar doesn't have an O2 sensor, sorry...

I found a shop yesterday that completed my mandrel bent exhaust back from the Bursch header to the mandrel bent 951 custome system I just purchased.
They did a great job. The car is a bit loud since the 951 system does not have a resonator, but man the car breathes real well from 4000-6000 now!
They also put the O2 sensor bung on into the Bursch header. Real neat. Custom hangers and all.
Anyone that is in the NH or Mass area that wants to get a custom mandrel bent system let me know I can recomend a good shop.
Oh went with 2.5" diameter to match the diameter of pipes on the 951 exhaust I purchased.

Great if a bit loud. I will post pictures of it soon at my site.
