Finally got some sorting and checks out of the way, got to drive my Turbo to work! So happy; it's been sitting so many years, and once I got the motor broken in and replaced the horribly dry-rotted tires, she sat again for a year while I didn't have time to sort out a clogged fuel system...

So still not perfect, have an AFM on order to try and sort the story on it, see how she's actually running at speed (seems weak on the boost, suspect over-rich, I seem to remember it pulling stronger, if it's not just intervening years of driving ZR1's, Z06's, CTS-V's and ZL1's that've jaded me... LOL)... but I can start to work on other smaller annoyances meantime...

Which leads me to, yes I said it, seat covers! Loved my old ones; basic tan cloth with many pockets (nicely making up for the lack of storage cubbies on the Toofah)... but I just can't seem to find much out there that'll handle a bucket seat... especially in a lighter color like tan or grey (to keep the heat off - the #1 reason I want covers over my dark brown sport seats).

Any suggestions? Don't need to be super-awesome, just keep the heat off, maybe with a small stash pocket would be nice but not critical...

I just ordered these, they are custom made per order. I'll post some pics once I install them. I went with black with red inserts but they have several colors available including lighter ones.

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for but, www.only944.com sells reasonably affordable covers to replace your existing fabric or leather rather than simply cover the existing material.

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.

Yeah, only944.com has some really nice things that cross over to the twofahh. I'm personally waiting for the sunroof seal to come back in stock because mine is nonexistent at this point.

If I decide to go all in and re-cover mine (lots of work, I've done it on other cars), then I will definitely do the only944 covers, thanks!, that is a very nice option. My passenger seat is perfect though and I didn't really want to remove the original.

I'm really happy with the custom covers for $180. They fit like a glove. I did have to remove the seats to put them on tightly but it was worth it.

Those look great! I need to do something about my seats and that looks better than any other seat cover I have seen. The fleabay ad doesn't mention 924 seat covers, what did you tell them about what model seat cover you wanted?

It has other 1978 Porsche seats so I asked them, they asked for a photo of my seats and confirmed they could do it. Contact them and send a photo, I'm pretty sure they'll do it. Its a great option for the price. It took about 2 weeks to get them made and shipped.
