|

| Gentlemen, looking on the web site i see the average prices someone looking to want a car are way out of touch. I recommend the web site is revisited. To give you an idea cars at Auction Carrera GT. The last one sold last week (June 22 2015) at Artcurial in Paris for 89,000 Euros. The Month before in May 2015 at the Bonhams Spa Auction a red one sold for equivalent in pounds Sterling of over £57,000. Don't want to mislead or dissapoint any enthusiast. On the other hand if someone is looking and finds one for less than these figures, go for it they are great cars. |

Which web site???
Carrera GTs have been steadily and dramatically increasing in value since I acquired mine in 2010, especially in Europe.
The last one that sold here in the states went for USD$62K. There was a silver one in Florida about 12-18 months before that which sold for USD$52K. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

This Spa car was a Red one, THe Artcurial Paris a Black one.
The Spa car was in a private collection and was not found before Roy Smith wrote his book:

The Paris car is listed in that book.
Also for information Silverstone porsche centre in England sold a Red one that had been repainted for £55,000 Sterling in April.
The indication is that the boyant sales will continue. Octane Magazine state the price was OK and are expected to go further. THis was a report on the sale at Spa. _________________ Carrera1981 |

Lots discussed and links to cars in UK and Europe here https://porsche924.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=22113
Of course in the US the 924 and turbo can be had for pennies as no one cares as a 924 hasn't got a 7 litre V8!!! _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

First CGT in Silver has the wrong front bumper/spoiler (look 944) and wheels (should be 7 + 8x16, looks 6 + 7'') _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife
