I'm curious as to know what the widest tire people have been using on stock rims
After market size rims/tires as well.
I'm looking to go wide as possible on stock suspension without hitting wither nor not I use stock rims I am not sure yet. |

Shaggy - 205/55/16 (6") in the front, 225/50/16 (8") in the rear - no rub, rear fenders lips hand rolled.
S Mama - 225/50/15 (7") all around - fronts rub inner fender at full lock, rear fender lips hand rolled.

I ran 205/60/14s on my 77. The 81 has 195/60/14s which are too small in diameter. Those make my speedo off about 8 mph and I would like to go back with the 205/60/14s but they are kind of hard to find now. Tire rack no longer carries that size.  |
