I LOVE the wheels that come on the 931 we have, my wife, however, is not a fan. What other wheel types (original) came on the 931. Any specific "desired" wheels that have a different look for the 931 that were popular for the time period?
I love how fuch wheels look on the 924. Can't find any and they are expensive. _________________ - 1977 Porsche 924 2.0 N/A (Trackday Project)

They came with either mesh or sewer lids.

The stock trash cans came with an anodized surface, and the wheels are really light. 928 versions, I have a set of those, are wider and heavier and more of a satin/chrome. For non-931 wheels, you can't beat D90s on a skinny car. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

I have trash cans on my turbo. If you decide to buy a set and don't like the gold tone on them you can remove this coating to make them chrome like.
Go to the wheel refinishing section for full detail on how to do this plus some photos. You could do this procedure for about 30 dollars total for 4 wheels.
I clean them about every 3 months and they look great.
