Hi Morghen, I am green with envy. You live the country I love most. The people made feel us feel welcomed like long lost relattves and the food was the best I've ever hade ame home with a pille of recipes. You've done a super job to your car and I can only wish to get mine any where near yours. JIM _________________ oldcarman-77 porsche 924 and one of the ugliest motorhomes on earth. |

Finally, the 931 is out in the wild again. Almost a year since it touched tarmac, but that was the tarmac of the Nurburgring though
A lot of things has been in the "way" (Like marriage ), and a lot of things has been carried out. Rebuilt G31 and linkage. change door seals, boot seal, passenger seat, got my el mirrors working again, a lot of small things fixed here and there...
But now its out again, just before Ill put it in for the winter though. Use to park it in for the year when september ends, but i might strech it this year. Its damn fun to drive it again, with a super tight gearbox aswell !!
PLease ignore the UGLY gear knob, its only temporary..

I need a spare RHS manual mirror gasket or desk pad as PET calls them. NLA for RHS so a new one may be a tall ask. A very good used one would be my next choice. Morghen You got really good car I enjoyed that ride on local bypass road. Mine car back to life few days later... no air leaks at all. Just AFR was really bad and engine gets too much fuel - and that is why it take 13L/100km on my last trip Mad drinking machine. Now engine sounds perfect and looks like it's much more stronger than was before and pulls better.
I wonder what is the max speed of G31? I checked mine with 924n/a engine before and it goes up to 180km/h at 3'rd when engine goes to red line. Is 944 S2 gearbox is better than G31? I don't ask about synchros _________________ 931 82' - 5000km after full engine rebuild

Thanks, i'm happy that you sorted it out. but i wonder how come it worked ok before and all of a sudden it started to go richer.
Anyway, now you can drive it more!
The G31 is very very similar to the code:16S gearbox that i have on my car, so top speed should be the same with the same wheels. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits
