Picking up a car in Jacksonville, will have an extended length Suburban and car hauler. Willing to make deliveries or pickups within reason along our route if anyone needs anything. Here is the current plan:

Sunday 24 June
Depart Plymouth MI ~4AM
Columbus OH ~7:30 AM
Charleston WV ~11 AM
Charlotte NC ~4 PM
Savannah GA ~9 PM
Jacksonville by midnight

Monday 22 June
Depart Jacksonville by 9 AM

Return route is reverse of the above, possibly split over two days; we may also be heading up to the Norfolk VA area to check into some interesting bits in that vicinity, although still waiting to hear back.

Space would be limited to whatever we can fit in the Suburban, strap to the car hauler, or fit within the toofah that will be on the hauler.

PM or email if interested.

Is today the 21st of June?
What are you getting down here?
What are you up to now?
Do you have an idle stabilizer (black box) for an '81?

Two questions unanswered What are you getting? (Haven't seen much on CL here) What are you up to now? (Who knows? )

Don't guess I need anything else (that I can afford at this time) been running OK lately, got an exhaust leak needing to be remedied, if you want to stop by and take care of that for me, I'll buy some beer.

Let's put it this way: I'm no longer looking for a 79 roller!

Going to fetch this. It got away from me once before, not this time!

For the short term, the engine will stay as is. Longer term, I want to complete the D prod theme, so I'll probably drop the cheap-a$$ stroker into it, along with a G31 + hydraulic clutch conversion.

Joe, if you want to come by and see the car, maybe have a quick breakfast before hand, we're meeting at 9AM at I-295 East at Atlantic Blvd exit.

Sure! Denny's for breakfast on Monday morning, say 7:45 AM?

We'll be leaving Plymouth at around 5 AM this morning. I'll send you a PM with my cell phone.
