On my Gulf I use Siemens Deka 630cc @ 3bar "pencil"-type injectors, on the red 924 I use 480cc (?) injectors from Mazda 323 GTR Turbo. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

I'm still gathering parts and making decisions so not decided on injectors yet.
The injectors you linked to on ebay look a good deal.
I was also thinking of going with the Siemens Deka 630cc pencil injectors - they're supposed to atomise better and be reasonably easy to tune at low loads/part throttle etc. _________________ 1979 UK 932 |

I'm using Denso 565cc blue tops (slim line) with a machined head to drop them into the air stream. They are from a 2010 Subaru impreza WRX. No problems with low speed drivability - it's better than the CIS by a million miles!
Ps mine are run at constant 3bar since they are over specced for my needs but still keep good atomisation. (think they'd do 300hp if needed)
If advise modern injectors - they are said to be light years ahead of old fashioned ones. Maybe get a refurb too if they're used - budget £50 for 4 in UK. _________________ UK spec '83 N/A with 931 motor with Eaton MP62 'charger @ 15psi. EFI - 565cc inj. Hmm, you guys are using injectors with a quite high flow rate. Off course you have Turbo engines, but still.....
I'm gathering stuff on Ebay, for my EFI project (N/A engine). I'm not looking for any major hp gain, well a little would never hurt . The primary goal, is an engine that fires up and runs perfect every time I start it. My old Golf 3 with a 1,4 engine (bosch monopoint injection) was always a pleasure to start, cold or warm, and I would like the 924 to be just as delightfull to fire up.
I have these injectors on my list.
Bosch 0 280 150 779, 192 cc/min (used on the Volvo 850)
I like them alot, since they have a nozzle, that can go into the deep CIS injector holes in the cylinder head.

I use Bosch 0280158040 with 24mm extended tip/nozzle from the Motorsport E14 series. 980cc should be enough for E85. Single 30° wide conical spray pattern. High impedance. _________________ Carl Fredrik Torkildsen

They appear similar to IIRC Saab injectors I used to run NA. Think they were 220 or 240cc, posted specs here somewhere. Martijnus has them now. They were quite good injectors in the stock location. Excellent idle and got to maybe close to 80% duty cycle on hot NA motor.

For a quick look, I do like those. Going the flex fuel E85 way ATM so need to update. OE for Polaris ATV, WTF`sat a snowmobile?
How do they perform gegge? idle? _________________ World`s quickest 924 2L slushbox

havent done the EFI conversion yet but i have 8 used injectors from the 454 build i did on my suburban. they are high flow rated 65 psi i think.
there is a shop that charges $15 per injector to clean them with a next day turnaround. that is if they fit
