Oh, and while I'm being needlessly helpful:

The 911 C2 turbo (3.3) uses the same injectors as the 931. That car has 315hp, so the bare minimum that the injectors are capable of flowing is around (315/6*4) or 210 hp. Supposedly, the C2 turbo tops out around 400hp with the standard fuel system, so we should be good up to 260 or so HP, which is what John H. said. I'm inclined to agree, but not from experience.

I'm getting mine cleaned and tested today, and they're here now. There is nothing offensive there cause that was ME walking into telephone poles, not you! lol But your reply seemed like a non-sequitor, that's all. I admire your work on intercooling Jon so there's no hard feelings here. Anyways, the point was that whatever system I need has to be MATCHED to a system. And for that I'll need to buy the system parts KNOWING their specs for a WHOLE system. I thought since the later 81 82 cars had crank fired ignition that Porsche had put electric injectors in those 931's but I was wrong on that - they kept crank fired along with CIS - wierd. Anyway, the choice to go beyond these is going to be determined by whatever EFI system I adopt.

Anyway, my guy gave me my test results at noon and says that most Porsche injectors start at 45 PSI, but mine started at 30 PSI. Spray was fine but they needed a cleaning on two of them. Notably, the two pistons that were troublesome before the rebuild 6 months ago. Hmmm. He's all hot for the Wolf 3d system or an Electromotive with low impedence injectors.

Wow, I never knew that was your page Jon! I found that on a google search once... I've been using your pics as reference for my EFI/turbo relocation thoughts...

Yeah I like the cooler setup. Have you begun your project CBass or are you still sketching things out?

I'm going down to pick up my car on saturday! I have been without a 924/931 the whole time I've been posting here... I've been learning about the cars and the maximum extent to which I can tweak/modify them

I am going to pick up a 1980 931, with the intentions of a 5 bolt swap, engine rebuild with 8.5:1 pistons, and a front mount cooler
