Front suspension from 87 944 Turbo 200eur (pair)
Steering knuckles and hubs 100eur (pair)
Front aluminium trailing arms 200eur (pair)
Front Brembo calipers 250eur (pair)
Rear trailing arms and hubs 100eur (pair)
Rear Brembo calipers 200eur (pair)
His best offer is total 1000eur all parts in list to make conversion + used brake discs and pads.
Is it realistic or to much for those?

What are you going to use it for, you will need other struts and a steering rack modification (longer arms) _________________ 937 trackday car

It sounds like he's going for a 5 lug conversion. _________________ - 1977 Porsche 924 2.0 N/A (Trackday Project)

It appears UK ebay has far cheaper prices for 924/944 parts than Euro ebay, especially ebay.de
I nearly bought all 944 turbo parts you are listing there for £500 tops.
Personally I wouldn't re use used discs and pads unless very recent. OEM discs are reasonably priced and are far better the many pattern parts. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

It seems high to me, but I'm not in on an island in the Mediterranean either. One can buy entire parts cars for that sum here in the US, but that may not be feasible for you.
But it still sounds a bit high...although, the Brembo calipers routinely sell for $400-$600 for a complete set. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
