Anyone have the procedure for checking a no start for a 91 Buick Regal with a 3.1 V6? A wiring diagram?
I have spark while cranking and the fuel pump and relay are good. Car won't start even with the fuel pump relay jumped. However, the fuel pump relay never gets 12V to it's coil. I have checked the fuses under the hood and the ones in the glove box.
Upon turning on the ignition all the blade fuses in the underhood fuse box go from no volts to 12 volts.
I'm thinking the computer is not signaling the pump relay. Any idea of where the computer is? _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

While in St. Paul, MN, I could go to local library and they had Alldata.com for Free! Check it out. Or, they'll have the Mitchell books. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Thanks everyone.
I'll try to locate the computer tomorrow evening.
The injectors are under the intake manifold so I can't tell. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

No that's a good response, I'm just not willing to pay for one for a one off repair. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

One morning a couple of weeks ago I tried to start the car, it turned about 2 times, fired a couple of plugs, and before I could let go of the key, the starter spun free and the car did not start. Tried again, but the starter spun free.
Hopped in the 924S and went to work.
Got home, popped the engine cover and bumped the key and much to my chagrin, I could see the power steering pulley turning. Not the starter spinning free, but rather NO COMPRESSION. One or more of 5 timing chains must have slipped.
Basically from a financial point of view the car is totaled. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I pulled the passenger side carpet in the footwell and didn't see anything. No obvious panel in the glove box. Guess it will wait until Saturday when I can work in the daylight. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
