Picked up a couple of more books recently:

1001 More High Performance Tech Tips
By Wayne Scraba, HPBooks, 2004
ISBN: 1557884293, 9781557884299
Comments: tends to be heavily biased toward muscle cars, and the production quality was not the best...several typos and some of the tips were duplicates. But, I got the book for $3 at a Border's Outlet, and there were some useful general purpose tips.

Automotive Wiring and Electrical Systems
By Tony Candela, CarTech, Incorporated, 2009
ISBN: 1932494871, 9781932494877
Comments: Picked this up to prep for my impending wiring harness and ECU installation. Very helpful book, should be on every enthusiast's bookshelf.

"High Performance Brake Systems, Design, Selection and Installation" SA Design

"Advanced Race Car Suspension Development" dy Steve Smith

"Car Suspension At Work, Theory & Practice of Steering, Handling & Roadholding" by Jeffrey Daniels

"Engineering Street Rods" by Larry O'Toole

"Fiberglass & Composite Materials" by Forbes Aird

In response to ideola's suggestion from the book review thread I posted recently regarding "The Porsche Book" that I contribute to this thread, may I offer the following samples in my library:

"The Porsche Book", 1984 edition Barth/Boschen...2009 edition Barth/Busing

"930 to 935, The Turbo Porsches", John Starkey

"The Racing Porsches", Paul Frere

"The Unfair Advantage", Mark Donohue w/ Paul Van Valkenburgh

"The Certain Sound, Thirty Years of Motor Racing", John Wyer

"Gurney's Eagles, Exiciting Story of AAR Racing Cars", Karl Ludvigsen

"Indy 500 Mechanic", Clint Brawner/Joe Scalzo

"The Kurtis-Kraft Story", Ed Hitze

"Scientific Design of Exhaust & Intake Systems", Smith & Morrison

"The Design and Tuning of Competition Engines", Smith/Wenner

"Design of Racing and High Performance Engines" SAE Publication #PT-53 edited by Joseph Harralson

"Racing Car Design and Development", Terry and Baker

"The Sports Car It's Design and Performance", Colin Campbell

"The Racing Car", C. Clutton, C Posthumus, D Jenkinson

"Basic Vehicle Setup and Performance Charts by Mark Donohue", This was a handout prepared for the "Road Racing Driver's Club"

"Race Car Engineering & Mechanics", Paul Van Valkenburgh

"Sports Car and Competition Driving", Paul Frere

"Guide To Competition Driving", Paul O'Shea

"Metal Fabricator's Handbook", Ron Fournier

"Brake Handbook" and "How To Make Your Car Handle", Fred Puhn

"Prepare to Win", "Tune to Win" & "Engineer to Win", Smith

"The History of the Racing Car: Man and Machine", Giovanni Lurani

"Competition Car Controls", Bamsey & Lis

and of course

"Cassell's German & English Dictionary", MacMillan Publishcations .

This sampling represents a portion of the 200 or so titles that I have acquired over the last 35 years or so, then we can add the Workshop manuals, tech data, binders of notes and periodicals. But of course it was a requirement of the business that I was engaged in, that necessitated a lot of research and reference material. Now the library grows more for my own personal use and enjoyment!
