well i finally found out why my car has been hesitating all this time. After replacing fuel hoses,spark plugs,and basically giving my car an enema with fuel cleaners the problem is that the third cyl. back is not firing at all. I took the car to a porsche garage and this problem was overlooked. Can anyone help me with troubleshooting this problem?

The First thing I would check is the compression of the misfiring Cylinder. Let me know what you find.

It is either gas or electric. Check spark by pulling the cyl # 3 wire out of dist.cap. With engine running, hold 1/4 inch away and see if spark crosses gap. If not, check again with different wire (I.e.: mix 2 with 3). If strong spark, replace (or swap) spark plug and run engine. If still missing check fuel.
The most likely place to have a problem is a blockage in the injector screens or fuel distributor screen (under fuel fitting; lift out with hooked paper-clip). Injector has to be removed and swapped with other cyl. If problem moves with injector, unclog or replace injector.
