Here's an alert gentlemen, the 931 intake valve appears to be no longer available from US or Germany. I've bought the last 2 and have been told the other 2 I need are no longer available.
So, nows the time to stock up on available used ones, if you can find them. I found a source and bought 4. |

FWIW, some folks here are none to pleased with DCAutomotive. (Disclaimer: I've never dealt with them personally, but remember reading a few disgruntled posts regarding their service). I sincerely hope your experience is better...be sure to post back and let us know how it goes. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

| Thanks for letting me know. I got 4 good used valves from them. I will be careful with them in the future. |

I was looking for something on steering racks and came across the above comment r.e. DC Automotive.
Stay away from them.
They're the pits.
One order of parts came through OK but the used hatch struts were crap. They said they'd replace them. Still haven't, three phone calls and a month later.
Ordered six radiator hoses. Web site said "in stock. Ship within 48 hours." Nine days later I called and they were waiting to get a few of them in -- so much for being in stock. So I forced the guy to send the three he had -- guess what, a month later, still waiting for the other three. Despite talking to "Dan" the parts manager and a few other random people who answer the phone.
Yeah-- don't go there. I would put my money on somebody from this board first, or exercise Google and find a good deal on new parts _________________ 1980 931 w/88K, decorating a field for 3 yrs. |

| How much did you pay for them if you don't mind my asking? The guy I got my 931 from was quoting some stupidly high prices that I find hard to believe... |

I just received 4 new 931 inlet valves from Pelican Parts, they had to source them from Germany. _________________ Paul

| Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I paid DC Automotive $25 for each valve. I had them checked by a machine shop for straightness once I got them... |
