Hi there, I just bought a purple 931. I would post a picture but I am not sure how, new to computers. Maybe next time. I have one question; on the serial plate it has "typ 924 01 then some big no...... What does the 01 mean?
Thanks,
Dave.
P.S. Finally, something of quality! |

Bloody Hell! Another Aussie! We're everywhere!
Welcome to The 'Board, mate. There's two more Turbo owners I know of in Brisbane, macBdog and crunchie 57 (and me but I'm in Vancouver at the moment).
The VIN decoder is here.
How to post a pic is here.
And your first port of call should be here.
Can't wait to see the pics! (by the way, Turbo's are the best of the 924's ) _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

Hey thanks for all your help, here is my attempt at posting a picture;

I bought mine in Brissy.
What size wheels and tyres can one fit under a 931? Do wider tyres make it harder to steer?
Thanks again,
Dave.[/img] |

Depending on the size of the 911 rims then yes! Do you have a set of Fuchs? Another 924 turbo owner representing Brisbane, welcome to the board. _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev
