I think i found my starting problem. I thinks its the CHECK VALVE but i can't find one anywhere.
Performance Parts has this one item called. "FUEL ACCUMULATOR" It's description says...

Leaking or defective fuel accumulators not only cause hard starting, they present fire danger. Note some cars have 2 units.

Is this what i need? i can't find anything in any parts catalog called fuel check valve.

Thanks for your help

steve

check valve is in th fuel pump on the OUTLET side, you cant buy the check valve anywhere that I have looked, you have to buy the whole new pump.
The accumulator or warm up regulator is usually the culprit in these cars, or both.
Other things are leaky injectors, check valve, and stuff.

If it is the check valve and you can't find anyplace that sells the chack valve you can get one from an idustrial parts house and adapt it to fit between the fuel pump and the accumaltors. Just get one that is compatible with gas.

I can get them so email me off this site. I buy them from my friendly Porsche dealer. You pay shipping and the cost of the check valve. They are cheap.
