The strut tubes are the same for the front of the car; the A-arms are similar but don't necessarily have the mounts for the swaybars.

Buy new struts - the cartridges are the same.

The throttle bodies swap out; get one from a 16V VW or Audi... just look around... the bolt patterns are usually the same.

16 valves OK . Thank you. I heard this doesnt change much ...makes for a little quicker
rpm (throttle response) when opened is what I heard.

Vaughan,

Is the throttle body the same for the 924 and 931 series one, 1980 model i.e. is the bolt pattern the same for these. as you know the series two 931 had a different throttle body - larger/single round, and I have been told a different bolt pattern i.e. I would also need the intake manifold to make fit - would rather not have to buy the throttle & manifold - what are my options on the throttle body using the series one manifold?

Thanks,
Peter
1980 931 Euro
