automatic flywheels

I have 2 78 924s one with an auto the other a 4sp I'm will be replacing the clutch on the 4sp soon. Are the flywheels between the auto and manual the same? I know 99.9% of cars the answer is no but the flex plate looks like a flywheel to me on this one. If they are the same would there be any reason to not swap flywheels when I'm doing the clutch like the engine being externally balanced? Thanks.
