I'm currently finishing the replacement of the clutch in my '83 924 Lux (thanks to help from people on this site). After that, it's got to be sold(I've just bought a house and need the money!)

The question is, how much do I ask for, and does anyone know a good place to advertise.

The car was owned by a friend of mine for 5 years before me, and I've owned it for 2 years. It's in good condition inside and out (no dents or rust), Zermatt Silver paint with a black pinstripe interior and is always garaged and only used in dry weather, and I've got about 6 years worth of receipts for work done to it over that time. Thing is, I've no real idea what to sell it for as the prices of them seem to vary so much. Any suggestions from anyone in the UK? I want a fairly quick sale, but don't want to give it away as it's a nice car

You could try looking in the monthly magazine Practical Classics which gives good indicative values for all classic cars including 924s.

Remember however that the values given for condition 1 and condition 2 apply to cars that are REALLY in that condition.

I am in fact looking for a good one at present and am located in the northwest, if anyone can help me.
