I am goign to put a light weigh easily removable felt interior in.
Oh also some of the sound padding is kinda sticking to the car, whats the best way to remove it?
Thanks

It's OK without the torque tube padding, but the tranny will be noisier. By the way, the padding (or whatever it's called), weighs practically nothing.

I too am removing the sound deadening material. I use a heat gun and a razor scraper. It comes off easy. Use leather gloves in case you slip and then you want to avoid the heat. As for the residue you can use acetone. Just be careful and do it outside. The harder portion of the the car is the wheel well. Round and hard to get the straight razor to conform. Slow tedious work. Saves some weight overall. About 15 lbs. I took out all the weight from the rear of the car and the back seats. Next...the fron and pass. side.

You didn't say what year the car was - but id it's the 931 with the engine management unit on the tunnel below the radio make sure there is some insulation between the computer and the body - otherwise when you drive the car hard the tube warms up and computer doesn't like it
