Just read the 4 to 5 bolt conversion section and it notes that if you use the 944 Master cylinder
you will need to "re-route to have proper proportioning of the brakes front to rear"
Re-route the brake lines. Ok what exactly does this mean and what is involved?

Thanks

Eric

It means you have to change the plumbing of the 924 to a front/rear split (TT split), to match up with the 944 MC. Likewise, the existing hard lines do not match up with the ports on the 944 MC, so you will have to do some more work up there adding lines and/or bending existing lines. Basically, you will have to do some bending and flaring, replumbing the system. Not too hard, just have to have good equipment to get good flares.

So I could just find a doner 944 and pull the lines off of it?

Not easily enough - it's easier to build your own lines.
