I would like to upgrade my shifter knob on my 1988 924s. I am having trouble getting it off and if it doesn't unscrew like I thought it would. how do I get one that does, on ????

I dunno if my shifter knob is identical to yours, but the knob on my 87 924S doesn't screw on/off either. You just have to pull it off! I just gave mine a few twists back and forth, and off it came.
