I am going to try once more to set my CO using the dwell. The dwell meter I used the first time is garbage so I'm going to pick up another tomorrow. My question is if the idle is off a little bit does that affect the dwell reading? It says everthing should be in tune to use this technique but I cant seem to get my idle right since my CO is so off. Also, does anybody know the best way to set the idle in these cars? Both my stop screw and idle screw on the intake are way off. Where do I start? Do I adjust the stop screw first and then the idle screw?
Thanks--Dustin |

to get your co right you need to take it to a shop that has a sniffer to put in the exhaust its measured by the total or just the amount any way I cant remember the percentage so I cant say though thats what I would do
and did with the co. I was running so rich it was silly the mechanic said I was putting close to half unburned fuel out the rear. My gasmileage was really bad so I took it to a shop.. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na
