My 924 had been sitting for a long time. The brake rotors were getting rusty, and the engine hadn't been run in quite a while, so I decided to take it out today and go for a little drive.

I had to jump start it with my other car. The battery was mostly dead, so maybe there's a slow electrical leak or something.

Here it is running, and I'm about to get inside.

And here's a photo from on the road.

After having driven the 944 for so long, driving the 924 feels really weird. You sit quite a bit lower in the cabin, the engine is much louder and more rough feeling, shifting gears takes less effort, the brake pedal takes more effort, and the suspension feels a lot more stiff. Also, it doesn't have power steering or a hydraulic clutch, so those things feel different too. I'd say that overall the 944 feels more refined and luxurious than the 924. Still, I think both cars are fun to drive.

No, that was Prospect Road, right where it turns into Sterling.

Update: Hey look, the grass got mowed! It felt embarassed about being cut so short, so we tried to cover it up as best as we could.
