Time: 11:06:59I bought a 1979 924 that had been sitting for about a year or so. I put new fuel pumps in it, wires, plugs, fuel lines, vacuum lines, and cleaned out the gas tank. It started on the forth or fifth try. It ran as though it was very cold and also sounded as though it wasn't firing on all 4 cylinders. When you rev it, it tried to die. It also sounded like it was pinging a little bit. So I truned it off and checked the oil which was a quart low. I added a quart of oil and now it won't start. We tried push starting it but as soon as you let off of the gas it dies again. We treid push starting ti about 9 or 10 times. Out of those it only started about 3 or 4 times. What is the matter with it? I still have excellent spark and excellent fuel pressure. I have checked the fual lines for leaks and the injectors to see if they spray right. Could it be a blown head gasket? HELP!!!!
