I recently bought an 82 924 in almost perfect shape, but at low rpm say 1,500 to 3,000 the car is constantly hesitating. Can anyone give me some type of pointers on what to look at?

Jason:

Just do the usual old used car stuff. Get yourself a Haynes manual and check out the ingition first (cause its easier). Check ALL the vacum control and vent hoses. Basically, just replace all of em unless you can tell someone recently did that.

Don't forget your email address please.

It also wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the fuel filter (use only a good replacement, like Bosch or Mann - the Fram won't necessarily fit) and check all fuel fittings, including those on the injectors, for tightness. I had a deal like this, and found fuel puddling around one of the injectors while the engine was running.
