How to tighten handbrake?

'83 924.
I recently replaced the brake shoes and pistons, and now the handbrake barely does anything.
I am stumped as to how you are supposed to tighten the damn thing, as the shoe adjusting wheels at the back obviously make no difference.
How do i tighten it?

Adjusted at the linkage in the cabin behind the handbrake lever.
