Hi everyone,
Finally got my engine in and starter loom installed. Just wondering if anyone could tell me where the engine is supposed to be earthed to the chassis? My starter isn’t engaging unless I earth the engine with a jumper cable, and like to use the factory reset location.
Thanks! |

There is a ground cable from one of the bottom bolts that connects the tranny to the engine to a bolt that fastens the rear of the drivers side A arm to the chassis. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car H-Prod SCCA

That doesn't sound stock at all...
More like ground strap from one of the rear intake manifold bolts to the firewall at the coil mount... _________________ Vaughan Scott
