Guards Red
RAL 3020
Thoughts on full respray in RAL 3020? All my Guards Red panels are different shades at this point and going to a RAL colour would open up some useful iso free industrial paints and be easier to source. |

Do you mind elaborating a little more on why moving from factory paint would make things easier?
Looks great tho, not too different from Guardian Red, at least in the pictures. _________________ 924 - 79' |

My options for factory paint are either cellulose (tried it, not durable at all) or isocyanate 2K paint (extremely deadly and you need an absolute bulletproof air-fed setup).
There are some non-isocyanate 2K paints available but they are for industrial use so they won't mix to custom colours and you have to pick from the RAL chart. I am hoping these would provide the durability of 2K paint without the safety issue. |
