Control Arm Ball Joint Replacement

Hi All,

I am restoring the front suspension on my 1981 UK 924 and on pulling it apart it looks like the ball joints on the control arms are not replaceable.

Is there a way you can fit the removable ball joint onto these? Is it as simple as drilling out the rivets or do I need to buy new later model control arms?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yup, drill them out and put the new ones in using the supplied bolts.

As above, or VERY carefully grind off the head of the rivets and you're ready for paint and new bolted ball joints.
