Back in Michigan too! It's been a helluva couple of years for me. Next time you guys come over to the west side of the state, give me holler. I'm in beautiful Spring Lake MI (between Muskegon and Grand Haven).

As for the stroker thing...or any performance mod for that matter...I've always maintained that it's not about "what makes sense" financially. For me, the learning, the experience, and the friends I made along the way were worth far more than the money I spent chasing down ways to make these cars go.
After the 27 cars and many tens of thousand I spent, I have no regrets. Nevertheless, the upshot of all that spending and fun and learning is this:
In my opinion, the overall best ratio of performance improvement to dollar spent for a street-driven 2L 924 is to buy the best condition 931 you can find and install a water meth injection kit with a boost controller. After that, better brakes, better tires, investing in repairs & reliability, and of course, going on a diet yourself and learning how to drive better _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
