Been trying for a while to understand what could cause this and not coming up with anything that makes sense, thought I would ask people here.
My cold start idle is pretty low and rough.
Once it reaches temp (after 5-10 mins) I've set the idle (via throttle screw) to be about 1k RPM. It's not too rough at this point.
After driving for say 20 mins or so, I sometimes notice the idle to be very high, around 2,000 RPM. What could cause this?
As I understand it, there are a few K-Jet components that directly affect idle speed, but they all seem to be either cold or warm idle. AAV seems to be working fine (freezer test). I think the idle basic setting on the fuel distributor is off, but would that cause this problem?
I've got a K-Jet pressure gauge on order so I'll do a full runthrough of the system pressures soon... in the meantime this is a nagging question I have. Thanks! _________________ George
