Pipe that connects egr to exhaust?

I'm nearing the end of getting my 1979 924 NA smog legal and finished running all the vacuum lines and components a few weeks ago. I cannot for the life of me find the pipe that connects the EGR to the Exhaust. I have tried the PET parts manual, hanes book, and countless hours sleuthing around form posts as old as i am. I'm assuming it's nla but has anyone figured out an alternative?
