any pointers or a removal guide?

I have to get my used one refurbished quick and have been reading on the downtime. Cant be as hard as replacing an a/c compressor (7.2hr book time) on a 15 Macan S 3.0tt...yeah, thats sucked.

If you are talking about the not running 931, I've got a used turbo head and have a place on Rt30 between Bedford and Everett.

What?!!?? No way!! That's awesome! I actually have 2 heads at this point and a complete engine.

Do you redo the heads?

No, I restore the older 356/912/911 engines. I have a machine shop near me that does my head work for the 924 and all the others.

so the rebuilder is down near DC? how often are you back up bedford area? would you be willing to take my head there for some work? Not too many places around me that i trust to do it right.

Sure, I can take it. I'm having some AC work done there soon so I will be coming up to give the installers access. I'll let you know when I will be coming and we can meet up.
