Any difference between the blue and green vs. the yellow and black ones. Some references seem to indicate the green or for earlier cars and the yellow for later--some don't. They do have different part numbers. I am looking for a good rear shock for a 924 SE for street and autocross.

Other shock options welcome as well.

Do you still have the M030 parts? IMO, the only option for that car is to put Koni Sports on the back, and send the fronts in for a refresh, instructing them to match the rears.

Thanks, front still has the Konis, and they could probably us a refresh after forty plus years and nearly 90,000 miles. The rear has been replaced with Gabriel Ultra shocks. My understanding is the front has to be rebuilt or replaced as a unit, you can't just do inserts. So these:

You can send the struts to Koni for a refresh and keep the tasty M030 goodness...I just sent in a pair of M474 Koni fronts.

And yes to those rear sports.

Thanks Rasta, do you know how much do they charge to rebuild the struts? I just ordered the Koni rears, the plan was to get it back to stock spec or better, you got me back on track.

I also read Koni may have a rebuild service at the SCCA solo nationals or they used to. Solo nationals are in my hometown.

Located at beautiful Sears Point Raceway.

Glad you are going this route, you'll have the only 924SE in America with fresh M030 struts.
