Finally got the street car motor reworked and getting ready to reinstall it. I am putting it in thru the top. How many of the bolt ons can I put on ie, alternator, starter, motor mount arms manifolds, etc prior to installation in the engine bay?

You can have the entire motor intact, minus the front of engine coolant stuff and the CIS components. If this is an NA motor, I would leave the downpipe off and install that later from underneath.

Thanks, I hoped for that. I'm doing this under much less than ideal conditions, a very leaky shed with a broken cement floor(no concrete) so I need to make it as easy as possible. Also using my generator for lighting.
