I'm trying to get everything together to convert my 931 to the GTS intake manifold.
On the 931 intake, there is 2 post throttle body air connection, 1 by at fire wall next to the 5th injector and 1 under runner #1 that goes to the turbo recirculation valve.
On the GTS intake there is only one 1 post throttle body air connection, under runner #1. See pics here:http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=42969

Can those 2 connections be combined by a Y connector to a single intake location (under runner #1)?

Thank you

On the S2 intake manifold, the port by the cold start valve is used to provide MAP to the DITC. (It is also a convenient place to tee off of for other MAP reference, such as boost gauge and progressive water-meth injection controller).

I can't think of any reason that you shouldn't be able to tee off of the port on the bottom of the runner. The MAP had better be equal across all runners, otherwise you have other problems!

Dan, you are raising a good point about being equal across all runners.
If I'm not mistaking, the port by the cold start valve is the entry for the auxiliary air regulator.??? Going off memory, correct me if I'm wrong.
Would this be problematic if it feeds on 1 runner?

Still try to figure out what the small threaded port next to the cold start valve is for?

Probably a threaded barb for Boost take off for DITC or more likely the wastegate

I believe boost signal needs to be per-throttle body.

Wastegate is pre TB. Ditc is post for turbos and CGT. Haven't studied the GTS too closely.

I might modify the small threaded port next to the cold start valve to be similar to the turbo intake air port. This way, everything would connect the same way as the turbo intake.
I'm hesitant to modify it, but it would ease the installation.
Suggestion anyone

I agree with you, but I'm afraid the port will be too small.
I need to find out what exactly connect through that port on the turbo intake.

As I posted earlier, that small port is for the MAP reference line that goes to the DITC. You can use it also for MAP reference to boost gauge. Use the large port on the bottom of runner one to create a vacuum manifold for everything else, including brake booster.

Thanks Dan
I was worry about feeding the AAR to only 1 runner, but re-thinking about it, vacuum should balance it-self trough out the runners.
