|
|
I am working on my 1981 Porsche 924 with power electric windows and power mirrors. I am working on the power window regulator and in the process I noticed the wiring for the power mirror has a strange routing. It comes out of the round inside steel door structure, goes over the steel door structure for about 6 inches and back into the large rectangular hole and then into the door-to-pillar hole and boot. My question is: is this the correct routing outside the inner door steel and sandwiched between the door card and the inner door steel? Doesn't seem logical or correct to me.
If not correct what is the proper routing?
Comments welcome,
Thanks,
Ted |
