Good Day fellow transaxle fans,
This is my post here 😀😀😀
I am Working hard to get my 1983 ready for the season.
Bought a very very nice red 924 targa a few weeks back.
I will post pictures as soon as I am ready for the Road 🏎🏎
The oil pressure sending unit is defective and in need of replacement.
There is not Much room between the engine and firewall.
Anyone knobs the easiest to do this.
I bought a new sending unit at design911 today. Hope it will arrive here in Denmark soon.
B/R

It's not really that difficult. It helps to remove the ignition distributor, but make sure you know how to properly index it for re-installation later...
To remove the oil pressure sender, one of the electrical leads is a simple push on spade terminal. You should be able to reach down and carefully remove that. The second connector is held on with a 7mm nut, which you can remove with a small wrench or socket. Once you have the electrical connectors off, use a 17mm wrench to loosen and remove the sender from the head. That's it. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
