Any clues why the battery light is illuminated even when the ignition is switched off and the key removed?
1980 2.0 NA, UK spec, original alternator. |

That happened to me many years ago on an American car. They told me at the garage it was the alternator....I think something about positive diodes shorted or something like that. _________________ 78 924 |

Any way of fixing it?
It's the original alternator and a nice feature on the car with the air cooling duct etc. |
