So i've been slowly fixing the problems with my new silver car. However this one puzzles me. The lights turn on from the switch, but they don't open. I tried to open them from the knob on the engine, and to my surprise it closed them instantly when I opened them. So the engine actually works. I tried to swap the relay from my 2nd car, but still same problem. Only possible clue about what might be wrong is that my high beams don't work either (no clicking when pulling the indicator switch)
Are the indicator switches between model years swappable? My 85 has plastic switches like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-924-944-1975-1989-Indicator-Dip-Switch-Stalk-111953503-Black-/331688260960
but the car with light problems is 77 with all metal switches. |

Light switch most likely will prevent the headlights raising.
High beams - the stalks may have been separated and the top section is not engaged with the switch on the bottom section. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
