Porsche Club of America (PCA) welcomes all Porsche clubs, owners, and enthusiasts to the third annual PCA Werks Reunion to be held Friday, August 19, during the world-famous Monterey Car Week on Californias Monterey Peninsula. Membership in PCA is not required to participate in this celebration of Porsche automotive engineering. Expect to view a breathtaking array of Porsches at this free-to-spectators event, from rare classics to current models and everything in between. Display your own cherished car in model-specific Porsche Corrals or enter the Porsche Concours and compete to win in more than 20 prize categories.

2016 is also the 40th anniversary of the 924, the front-engined, water-cooled Porsche that started a revolution and continued Porsches tradition of offering an entry-level car. It spawned the highly successful 944 and other, more powerful model variants, which performed as well as any 911. All front-engined, water-cooled Porsches, including the V8-powered 928, will be celebrated as featured models.

From 7 AM to 4 PM, attendees will be treated to a stunning display of classic and new Porsches, special presentations, vendor booths, celebrity guests, and a few surprises.

Michelin, presenting sponsor of PCA Werks Reunion 2016, is proud to provide several exciting prizes for lucky event registrants, including Michelin street tires and a trip for two adults to the 2017 24 Hour of Le Mans.

On-site spectator parking will be available on the fairway adjacent to the concours, or for $20, at the Community Church of the Monterey Peninsula next door to Rancho Canada Golf Club.

A cash bar will be serving a wide variety of beer, wine, and spirits and opens at 10 AM. Lunch will be available on site from 11 AM to 1 PM.

PCA held the first annual Werks Reunion two years ago. PCAs Executive Council thought that a Porsche-only car show could sustain itself, an idea that was proved correct when thousands of spectators came to see more than 500 Porsches at the first Werks Reunion, and more than 800 at the second event.

Schedule:

7 AM Registration opens
7 - 9 AM Cars placed on field and in parking corral
7 - 10 AM Breakfast and coffee carts available
9:30 AM - 12 PM Concours judging
10 AM - 4 PM Cash bar stocked with a wide variety of beers, wines, and spirits
11 AM - 1 PM Lunch available from onsite vendors

ALL DAY View cars, socialize, have fun!

FWIW, Historics will commemorate the 100th anniversary of BMW. Interesting cars at the track, guaranteed.

I'm thinking about it as well, but only if I can snag a spot on my buddys race trailer. To many miles to drive my garage queen.
