Anyone fancy a trip to UK for our 40 year 924 celebrations?

2016 National Rally Incorporating 92forty, Prestwold Race Experience, Leicestershire

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 924. This will be our biggest and most ambitious event to date. We have booked our own circuit for the day. Race cars, trade stands, prizes and so much more! Keep an eye on the forum for more information.

https://porsche924.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=109&t=22301

Hope to see plenty of our European cousins coming over. Happy for our US and Canadian friends to be shipping cars and themselves over too!!

I am really hoping to make this event. Got approval from SWMBO this week, just need to iron out logistics and budget.

Best plan on bringing an extra suitcase. You'll be bringing parts with you to avoid shipping and duties

I'll get the shopping list ready

Lol @ the nothing to declare

I just came back from US with suitcase full of parts (including some A-arms), no one asked anything..

Really makes me want to visit the celebration, perhaps it would make sense to take ferry to Sweden and then from Gothenburg to England in order to avoid driving through Germany and eurotunnel (nice "guests" rom arabic countries have swarmed the Europe...).

Hook of Holland. Never heard of any issues at Dutch ports, only the French

Same date, but new venue for UK's celebration of the 924 birthday. The 94Forty is now at Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone with the backing of Porsche Cars GB. Updated thread here https://porsche924.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=109&t=24905

All are welcome, but MUST be booked and paid for in advance as stipulated by the Porsche Centre to ensure best management of the event and venue.
