I all, I have a 87' 924S, that I purchased around 8 months ago. The car always starts up immediately and drives great, except for when the car has been sitting for 4+ hours and it is moist outside, in those conditions the car still starts up fine, but in the first 5 minutes or so of actually driving it, the engine almost feels like it locks up for a second and the car jerks very hard from the sudden loss of power (or whatever is happening). After that though, the car will be fine until it sits for an extended amount of time again. I have no idea what could be wrong with it, and like I said, it only does this when moist outside, any other condition and its fine.

Caused by either 1) bad speed/ref sensor or speed/ref sensor wiring fault; or, 2) bad ignition switch
