Among my little fleet of misfit Porsches, I've got a 78 924 that needs a fuse box due to water/corrosion damage. I have a good fuse box from an 84 944 and they sure look the same. Does anyone know for sure if they are actually the same part? Electrons and I don't get along too well,s so I want to try to do this only once. Thanks! _________________ - Brian |

Did you check the PET of both the 924 and the 944? If the numbers are exactly the same the fusebox is also the same _________________ 911SC - 1980 |

They look identical but I won't know part numbers until I remove them both. At that point, I may as well try to plug the 944 box into the 924. I was hoping to find out if it will work, before tearing both cars apart _________________ - Brian |

Fuse panel can be pulled apart and cleaned internally. Later cars added an extra fuse block, which may or may not be a problem for you. _________________ Stefan
