|
|
I am molding my own carpet as the old was trash.
I am no stranger to that job, already have tohe rolls of carpet ready to go.
I do not want to put it down bare, as I have done in the past. What is a good, yet cost effective way to damper exterior sound?
The existing stuff was hosed. My VWs always had "sand" mats.
Looking for ideas, any help greatly appreciated. _________________ 1979 924

I've ordered some of that stuff on mine
the material is very light to anything else i've found and seems to do a decent job at sound insulation

Used this in a few cars, Its waterproof takes adhesive well & has the density and thickness 3/8" to block out road noise. Found at my local Lowes home improvement store, Home Depot may have similar.
