I would assume not as the sensor plate is the metering device that controls the fuel flow in coloration with the amount of air pulling through the CIS system. Think of the throttle body valve, if that was smaller would the engine work properly?

What's going on with your parts? are they bent/broken or something?

no, they will not. I have tried and you will never be able to tune in the A/F mixture.

What do you need? fuel distributor or the air sensor box?
I have an air sensor box if you need it
